ANAAL NATHRAKH: BBC Radio Session To Air Tomorrow
March 21, 2005British black metallers ANAAL NATHRAKH have posted the following message at their official web site:
Following the recent live session, the BBC will be taking the arguably irresponsible step of broadcasting ANAAL NATHRAKH playing as a full band from their Maida Vale studios. The show goes out on the evening of the 22nd of March at 1am U.K. time, and can also be heard through the BBCwebsite both live and for a week or so after broadcast. 3 tracks were performed with, as mentioned, a full band lineup comprising the ANAAL NATHRAKH duo, Shane Embury [NAPALM DEATH], Nick Barker [ex-DIMMU BORGIR, CRADLE OF FILTH], Ventnor and Chemical Nova. The recordings were described at the BBC studio as a 'grotesque abomination'. This is considered apposite by all involved."
ANAAL NATHRAKH's second full-length album, "Domine Non Es Dignus", was released last November through Season Of Mist. The follow-up to 2001's "The Codex Necro" was recorded at Necrodeath studios and contains no "keyboards, vocal distortion or harmonizers," according to a posting on the band's web site.
